- Involved in all phases of Content Management System development based on Plone and Zope
of about 15 websites which are administered on Linux. Developed Python Zope, DTML, CSS,
and Page Templates which are used consistently throughout company’s websites.
- Integrated e-commerce-enabled website for a client from the ground up using Interchange, an
open source commerce server and application server/component application. Set up the backend
processor for the company’s shopping cart which include setting up payment gateway for credit
card processing.
- Managed script creation for regression and stress testing using Silk Test, an automated testing
tool.
- Consulted for Seattle Specialty Insurance in the ”Multimedia Document Management Systems”
project. Integrated large scale scanning of insurance documents with their existing work-flow.
Developed needed Kofax ASCENT Capture release scripts in Visual Basic. Deployed and
supported a large fax server based on Hylafax. Supported operation of the eTrac Jetspeed portal.
- Performed systems administration for a heterogeneous network of Windows, Linux and Solaris
machines. Responsibilities included installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrade of
computer hardware, peripheral equipment, operating systems, and software applications. Took
responsibility for database and system backup/recovery of Unix and Windows servers. Assisted
in the implementation of network security procedures.
- Acted as the build engineer for a complex, multi-platform software base running on Linux,
Solaris, Windows, Windows CE, Java and J2ME. Designed fully automated procedures for both
the build process and the CVS revision control system.
- Performed webmaster and web publishing duties for the company’s 12 independent websites.
Configured and maintained web software, including Apache, Tomcat, and Jetspeed. Assisted in
both the graphic design and the functionality of all company web pages.
- Coordinated test procedures for all wireless e-mail device and server products. Planned
and conducted white-box and black-box stress, scenario and regression tests. Designed and
developed test plans, tools and scripts. Maintained and configured a variety of CDPD and other
wireless modems and PDAs for end-to-end testing and demonstration.
